Accounts and Founders
Guest accounts
Everyone starts as a guest. The main menu shows New Game when you have no saved session and Continue when you do. A guest account is tied to the machine it was created on until you link it.
Linking Discord or Google
Open Esc → Settings → Account → Link Discord (or Google). Linking:
- ties your progress to you instead of one PC,
- keeps your Alpha Racer badge through alpha wipes,
- earns Founder rewards if you played the Discord-era game.
Usernames
Usernames are unique and case-insensitive. If a name is taken you’ll be asked to pick another.
Founders and badges
| Badge | Who gets it |
|---|---|
| Founder | Players of the original Discord game who link the same Discord account |
| Alpha Racer | Alpha testers with a linked Discord account |
| Beta Racer | Beta testers (planned) |
Titles and badges are shown on your ID Card under TITLES. Reputation (“Street Cred”) and infamy are tracked alongside them.
Wipes
The alpha can be wiped when the team needs to. Wipes are announced in Discord first and become rarer in beta. Progress becomes permanent in Early Access.
